Social Structure
House mice are highly adaptable to surviving because they have behavioral and physiological traits. They are both nocturnal and territorial. A house mouse can produce up to 14 litters a year, up to 12 babies each litter.
Characteristics
A mouse has a slender, hairy body with narrow hind feet, thin tail, and small sharp claws. They do have a variation of colors depending on the kind of species. A house mouse generally weighs up to 1.1 ounce and their tail equals their body length. They are very good climbers, jumpers and also swimmers.
